Hello Raisins!
Oooo! With BM just around the corner, the excitement is brewing over here on the East Coast as well!
In preparation for the big adventure, we thought we’d put it “out there” that, while fully prepared to be our own pod, we’d also welcome joining a larger pod if the opportunity presented itself. In addition to being our loving, playful selves, we are generous spirits, happy to contribute to a larger pod society any way we can. The logistics of airplane travel limits us some in terms of what we can physically bring, but we’re more than happy to make Reno purchases or pack small items that are needed/desired on behalf of our pod. We’ll be arriving to the playa on the 26th to help set up. And since we can cook up a storm, we’re more than happy to contribute a pod meal!! Any takers?
See you all in a few weeks!!
Love and light -

Not sure whether you've heard from anyone yet, but I'm in an over-full pod and have three very dear long-time friends who'd LOVE to camp with us (also long-time Burners), and who are currently homeless on the playa. Are you open to forming a pod with them? (Do you know whether you'd have space?) They're coming up from the Bay Area, and so are likely to be able to bring fresh fruits/veggies etc. as needed. Two have said they're not big "playa foodies", but one is very willing to participate in group-food (bring stuff, play a support role -- he himself is not much of a cook).
If you're interested/open it'd be better to put you in touch directly, but the brief summary of the 3 is:
Todd - lived in Santa Cruz for many years; been in Berkeley about 5. Masseuse, yogi, writer, all-round sweetheart and loving person.
David K. - Long-time Berkeleyite, musician ("human jukebox"), works at the Ecology Center, sweetie (he's the one who'd want to help w/ food).
David E. - another Berkeleyite, groovy city planner; married w/ kids, but his family doesn't join him on the playa; another total sweetie.
Let me know! (If you want to email directly vs thru Tribe, I'm danalynh@pacbell.net).
best,
D
