Hey Raisins
It may feel too soon to talk about your experience of living in Blazin Raisin at BM06. A few Raisins have expressed a willingness to form a discussion group to talk over the possible direction that our Collective
Community Village could head in this next year. ANY Blazin Raisin village member who has input is VERY encouraged to communicate , so that ideas can be dicussed to meet the needs of the community. ANY Blazin Raisin village member who wishes to participate in the discussion group is encouraged to contact
AJ,Adam,Indria,Susie K. or Bradley or any other Raisin you know who has enthusiasm for this effort to Refine/Define/Improve the Blazin Raisin Village Experiment . Please communicate your Opinions/Ideas
soon, while they are fresh and passionate from your experience on the Playa . Help those who are interested in discussing this to be fully informed of your opinions so that good decisions can be made with
consideration to the desires of the group as a whole . It takes a village to build a village .

  • Thanks Adam for posting this.. Is there a way to forward your messages to the gmail list? I can do it, but I don't remember the login codes.
When are the forms due? I can help fill them out if it is a matter of us getting the village status or not.
Maybe Katie would be a willing email person. How bout Sheva Lisa?? We definitely need some help.
  • Adam,

Thanks for posting this. I know a few of us started talking about this a few months ago but it's hard to keep the focus when there is so much post burn catching up to do.

I'm excited about this year being the year of the Green Man! I'd like to see us do something of greater service to the BM community at large. Ideas that came up in conversations I had after 2006 include:

    * Providing a solar powered battery charging station (I'm bringing 90 watts of solar panels myself)

    * Creating a bleeding edge evaporation recapture system to get rid of excess liquid waste and reclaim the h2o

    * Using some of the technology being harnessed at Stanford and other places to create super efficient cooling systems (think structure with special chimney like windtunnel device to force air below

    * Find a way to harness some of the wind power of the playa to good use

Any of these get anyone's interest?

    -Rudi
